Taking place on Saturday, 5 September 2026, the event unfolds at the stunning beachfront setting of De Bakke Santos in Mossel Bay, a town known for its iconic views and warm hospitality.
Set against the breathtaking beachfront of De Bakke, Santos Beach in Mossel Bay, the setting for the Santos Beach Auto Extremo is nothing short of spectacular. With sweeping ocean views and golden sands, this unique coastal backdrop rivals the world’s most iconic concours venues – from Villa d’Este on Lake Como to the legendary Pebble Beach in California. Nowhere else in South Africa offers a stage quite like this – where Retro Classics and Modern Supercars meet the roar of the surf and the glow of the sun.
The name “Auto Extremo” is derived from the Portuguese Automóvel Extremo, a nod to the town’s explorer heritage, where Bartolomeu Dias first landed in 1488. This historic backdrop meets high-performance machinery in a show that reflects both heritage and horsepower.

Exhibitors are invited to display their vehicles from 08:00, with all cars parked by 09:00. Gates open to the public from 09:00am to 16:00pm.
In keeping with tradition, the event supports local communities through donations to respected international benefactor services including the NSRI Mossel Bay, Round Table Mossel Bay, St Blaize Lions.
