A Mighty Men event unlike any other – in the heart of the city.
On 11 October 2025, Mighty Men Moot will take place as a one-day event in Die Moot, Pretoria. It carries the DNA of Mighty Men, but with a form specifically released for a time such as this.
We call you, fathers
We call you, sons
We call you brothers
We call you Mighty Men
There will be no camping.
There will be no overnight stay.
There will be worship,
the un-conpromised Word
and a call to repentance.
The Lord has brought together a group of men from different walks of life – many of them spiritual sons of Oom Angus – with a shared conviction that God has chosen both the date and the place. These men did not coordinate their plans in advance. God spoke separately, and when the pieces came together, it was clear: the time is now, and the place is Die Moot.
Shalom has released the team under the leadership of Joe Niemand to move ahead with this unique gathering, with Oom Angus’ blessing.
This is not a conference.
It is not a new model.
It is a specific instruction, for a specific season, in a specific place.
God is moving in this nation, and He will set the agenda.
Who is it for?
It’s for men. Fathers and sons.
From every background, culture, and neighbourhood.
If you can take responsibility, show up, and hear from God — you’re old enough.
Just bring your Bible
Come expectantly
Be ready to stand
Be ready to kneel
Be ready to hear from God and bring those who know God as well as the men that need God, that is every man!

No Alcohol – This is a sober, family-friendly event.
No Camping – The venue is for the event only. Please arrange accommodation off-site.
No Gazebos – To keep sightlines clear and prevent obstruction.
General Conduct
Respect the venue, organisers, and fellow attendees.
Follow instructions from event staff and volunteers.
Keep the grounds clean – use bins provided.
