The Oktoberfest at the Deutsche Internationale Schule Pretoria is South Africa's original Oktoberfest and a fundraiser for the school. Join over 10 000 people in celebrating true German tradition under African skies on 16 and 17 September 2022.

The 44th Oktoberfest offers german “Gemütlichkeit” with:

• Live music on the main stage by the Kronwildkrainer Oompah band from Niederösterreich. Besides Oompah, Oberkrainer and folk music the five exuberant lads and a charming dirndl’s repertoire includes rock, pop and dance music as well as numerous original compositions.
  One can see that friendship and fun are very important to the Kronwildkrainer as soon as they step onto the stage. With their humour and musical finesse Oktoberfest 2022 will surely have an awesome vibe for young and old.
• Our popular Biergarten with entertainment throughout the weekend.
• Authentic German fare from Eisbein and Kassler to Schnitzel, Bockwurst and more.
  Our signature German meals need to be pre-ordered on iTickets.co.za.
• Barrels of Newlands Spring Craft Beer, Stella Artois Lager, Hoegaarden White Ale, Leffe authentic abbey beer, Castle Light, Black Label and a selection of independent craft brewers
• Traditional treats like Brezel and Lebkuchen as well as souvenir hats and shirts from our market stalls
• Over R55 000 in raffle prizes to be won including a tailored gaming computer sponsored by myVentures.

For the safety and convenience of festival goers the Oktoberfest is a 100% cashless event.
Either purchase a pre-loaded event card at iTickets.co.za for easy collection on entrance to the event or buy your cashless card on the day at a top-up station and load up with any amount, using a credit or debit card. No cash will be accepted whatsoever.
