The ONE occasion when Ferrari F1 fans from across South Africa are invited to arrive dressed in red from head to toe for the Shell V-Power SEFAC Experience Day at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit north of Johannesburg

Don’t even think about pitching up wearing socks, or any other fashion accessory, in another colour. Because only Ferrari ‘red’ will do when the Southern Equitorial Ferrari Automobili Club (SEFAC) hosts the biggest gathering of Ferrari supercars in the southern hemisphere!

It is an exceptional annual lifestyle event and quite possibly South African motoring's best-kept secret:

• A spectacle of speed, sound and gleaming automotive bodies, a day when a few hundred of Maranello’s finest creations on four wheels descend on Kyalami and members of one of the oldest Ferrari owners’ clubs in the world start their engines with unrivalled access to the legendary 4.522km circuit.

The spirit of Enzo Ferrari will be very much alive on Saturday, 11 June, and his famous dream ‘to build a car that flies without leaving the ground’ could be a rallying cry for the sea of fans around the circuit.

Limited tickets will be available at the grandstand seated area; organisers recommend getting to the circuit early.

Gates open at 08:00.

• General admission tickets are R350 and VIP tickets are R750.

• No unauthorized person will be allowed in the pit lane for safety and security reasons and fans will have limited access to the pit area via the pedestrian bridge over the main straight.
