Karoo Suite van Deon Meyer en Coenie de Villiers het drie jaar gelede by die KKNK gedebuteer en sedertdien gehore oor die hele land heen op hul voete gehad. Die opvolgproduksie, Karoo Suite 2: Karoonagte, volg dieselfde bewese resep met verhale van Meyer (wat ook die verteller op die verhoog is) en oorspronklike musiek van De Villiers. Die kitaarvirtuoos Mauritz Lotz sluit by hulle op die verhoog aan. Die produksie bestaan uit nagverhale en word toegelig met oudiovisuele materiaal van National Geographic-fotograwe en van Nasa, en verder aangevul met animasie deur die kunstenaar Diek Grobler. Karoo Suite 2: Karoonagte is Meyer en De Villiers se mooiste liefdesbrief aan die Karoo.

Karoo Suite by Deon Meyer and Coenie de Villiers had its debut run at the KKNK Arts Festival three years ago. Since then, the production has had South African audiences on their feet. The follow-up production, Karoo Suite 2: Karoonagte, follows the proven recipe with text by Meyer (who is also the on-stage narrator) and original music by De Villiers. Guitar maestro Mauritz Lotz joins them on stage. The production consists of night stories and tales, and the production is supplemented with audio-visual material by National Geographic-photographers and footage by Nasa, as well as animation by artist Diek Grobler. Karoo Suite 2: Karoonagte is a beautiful and compelling homage to the Karoo by Deon Meyer and Coenie de Villiers.
