MAJOZI Live at Atterbury Theatre
South Africa’s renowned musician MAJOZI will be performing at The Atterbury Theatre this March. Known for his radio hits such as Fire, Darling and most recently Waiting and Somebody, MAJOZI has climbed deep into the hearts of fans across the country.
His sincere and heartfelt songs artfully portray an uplifting perspective on his faith and the world around him and his talents lie in the guitar, keys and drums which he plays.
He released his sophomore, self-titled album through Universal Music South Africa in 2018. His original songs which started out on piano, featured themes of super heroes, faith, vulnerability and insecurity, reflecting where MAJOZI was emotional whilst writing them. This time round, he has pushed his creative juices past all previous boundaries that has led him to the creation of his latest album – a Pop Soul offering.
MAJOZI has performed on stages across South Africa and abroad to thousands of people. Tours include Amsterdam with local music greats such as Francois van Coke and Die Heuwels, Fantasties and shows such as Liefde By Die Dam.
Performing with MAJOZI is Aston Wylie, who just released his brand-new single, entitled ‘Broken and Beautiful’. This comes after the release of his previous song, ‘Howling’ in 2018.
