Ferrari Owners Club returns to the new Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit

In what will be the first in a new era of Johannesburg’s historic Grand Prix Circuit, the 23 July sees the return of the Ferrari marquee to Kyalami. . The occasion: Ferrari Day, without doubt Africa’s, and possibly the Southern Hemisphere’s, largest gathering of supercars from Maranello. This year’s event, with the support of Shell SA, will be called “The Shell V- Pwer Nitro+ SEFAC Experience Day”.

Expertly organised by SEFAC (the Southern Equitorial Ferrari Automobili Club) and proudly sponsored by Shell V-Power Nitro+, the annual SVPN+ SEFAC Experience Day is the one occasion when members of the world’s oldest Ferrari owners’ club have unrivalled access to this challenging circuit.

“SVPN+ SEFAC Experience Day is quite possibly South African motoring’s best kept secret: a festival of speed and sound when 200 of Maranello’s finest automotive creations descend on the legendary racetrack. Given the track’s new layout and pit building reconstruction, we are expecting a turnout second-to-none. Great cars on the day will include the all-new 488, a unique 250 GT racecar from the sixties, a fire-breathing F40, demonstration runs from the 360 Challenge series and over 200 others ranging from the 1960’s to the 2016’s”, says the event’s organiser Peter Angouras, Committee member of SEFAC.

Entrance to the public is R50 per person and children under 12 are free. Tickets can be purchased from www.itickets.co.za and at the gate, on the day.
