PRESS RELEASE: Angus Buchan will be praying for RAIN

“We are deeply concerned for our fellow farmers in the West of South Africa who are experiencing a terrible drought situation!

This drought does not only effect the farmers , because a drought is no respecter of persons. It affects everyone, becoming very destructive to those in towns and cities, to the economy and eventually the Nation as a whole.

Therefore, we are calling for a prayer meeting! Irrespective of denomination, class, or age. We will meet on Friday, 31st January at Grey College. We will call unto Our Lord Jesus Christ , the "Maker of the Wind and the Rain", to please send life giving rain to our thirsty land.

The scripture verse we will stand on is found in 2 Chronicles 7:14:

“If My People who are called by My Name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

I firmly believe if we as believing Christians repent, and sincerely seek forgiveness, He will forgive our sins and heal our beloved land, and bring refreshing rain.
