Gaining by Losing - Why the future belongs to churches who send

It is a real privilege to have J.D. Greear with us for a day. J.D. is the pastor of The Summit Church, in Raleigh-Durham, NC and author of many publications including Gaining by Losing: Why the Future belongs to Churches that Send (2015) and Gospel: Recovering the Power that Made Christianity Revolutionary (2011).
The Summit has been one of Outreach Magazine’s "100 fastest growing churches" for many consecutive years. Two main things characterize The Summit Church: its gospel focus and sending culture. The Summit Church has a vision of planting a 1,000 churches in a generation. To date, the Summit has planted 119 churches and sent more than 630 people to North American and international church plants longterm.
In this one day intensive, J.D. will share key principles around what it means to be a church that is more about sending capacity than seating capacity.
The day will include three talks by J.D., some interviews with local practitioners, lunch, networking and a time of Q and A. It will be hugely valuable to planters, pastors and leadership teams in churches that want to see the Kingdom advance through gospel multiplication.
